The programme has been developed by distinguished experts engaged in the field of inherited metabolic disorders and members of the MetabERN network. It aims to provide graduate students and medical residents, as well as general practitioners and various medical specialists, with both basic theoretical knowledge and practical experience on inherited metabolic disorders.

The Diagnostic, Clinical & Therapeutic Education Programme on Inherited Metabolic Disorders has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME), an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). It consists of 11 e-learning modules, each including different lessons presented as video lectures. After completing each module, students will be awarded the relative CME credits, with a total amount of 17 CME credits in case of completion of the entire course.
